Cybersecurity Analyst, Junior
Key Role:
Install client-provided security updates on multiple technology platforms. Conduct vulnerability assessments to verify the security posture of supported systems. Review cybersecurity documentation and training materials for accuracy and prepare a report of findings for the client. Support the government by advising on system security, including the planning, progress, and associated risk mitigation processes to ensure cybersecurity is incorporated into all aspects of system development and implementation. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.
Basic Qualifications:
* 1+ years of experience as a cybersecurity analyst in a professional or academic setting
* Experience with cybersecurity monitoring software
* Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles and techniques
* Ability to communicate effectively in writing
* Secret clearance
* Scheduled to obtain a B.S. degree by June 2021
* Ability to obtain a Security+ certification within 6 months of start date
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience with Splunk, the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) tool, and the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
* Knowledge of constructive military simulations
* CASP+ certification
* Network+ certification
