Deputy Program Manager

Key Role:

Work as a senior leader for Booz Allens Cyber and Engineering business. Act as a deputy program manager partnering directly with internal and external senior leaders, including Officers-In-Charge (OICs) to effectively lead the delivery of multi-million-dollar engagements while leading technically diverse, cross-functional project teams in implementing cyber capabilities. Support multiple federal departments and agencies simultaneously by deploying cyber security capabilities from discovery and design through implementation and operation. Maintain responsibility for the leadership and development of experienced teams of project management professionals, engineers, and architects ranging in size from 25-300 full time employees. Present innovative thinking regarding client engagement, service delivery, and risk management. Manage and mitigate key technical, programmatic, and business risks and issues impacting high quality delivery and financial performance. Build and leverage relationships with Booz Allen's civil market leaders and federal cyber leaders to identify mission drivers, share pertinent capture information, and design solutions to fill needs.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with federal government consulting, including project delivery, client engagement, and relationship management

-3+ years of experience in program management roles, including leading technically diverse teams to successful deliveries on complex programs

-3+ years of experience with leading teams in a collaborative, matrixed environment

-Experience in working simultaneously across several federal agencies

-Experience with leading project teams of 25+ and acting as the client relationship manager

-DHS Suitability clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in client-facing situations, including presenting cyber concepts and designs to a variety of audiences

-Experience with representing technical and programmatic viewpoints to diverse audiences and making timely and prudent risk decisions

-Experience with managing remote and onsite staff

-Ability to lead robust risk management efforts across six agencies working to assess and identify potential risks, evaluate risks to ensure that they are appropriately mitigated, and provide insightful, quality reporting

-Ability to lead a team in communicating risks, statuses, and schedules, responding to actions and data calls, and conveying project status for a complex cybersecurity program

-Ability to lead a team in marketing and business development efforts to identify new opportunities, mature relationships, develop intellectual capital and proposals, and capture new business

-Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment

-Ability to be results-oriented, self-motivated, organized, disciplined, and energetic

-Possession of excellent client facilitation and analytical skills

-Possession of excellent verbaland written communication skills

-M.A. or M.S. degree preferred

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
