If you have a strong technical background and like customer interaction this is the position for you. Intel Custom Foundry (ICF) is looking for candidates with strong technical skills in Analog/Mixed Signal/RF design and methodology to work with our customers. As a successful candidate you will drive ICF technologies and solutions into customers engineering teams as well as be the customer advocate back into Intel Technology and Design Kit teams.

The Analog Application Engineers responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Circuit and layout design, circuit checking, device evaluation and characterization, documentation of specifications, prototype construction and checkout, modification and evaluation of custom components and library cells, performing developmental and/or test work, reviewing customer requirements, planning and coordinating implementation details and solutions.
* Responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
* Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Candidate must possess a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study with 3+ years of experience in analog/RF/mixed signal design/design automation related field.

3+ years of experience in each of the following aspects:

* Analog Design, Simulation, Layout design and verification.
* Supporting and influencing users in Analog/Mixed-Signal design.

Preferred qualifications

* Masters degree in Electrical engineering.
* Knowledge of circuit simulation and transistor level tools, including SPICE, layout editors, parameterized cells, EM simulators.
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as SKILL, Python, Tcl, perl.
