Logic Technology Development (LTD) is looking for Industrial Engineers. As a member of this team you will be responsible for employing industrial engineering methods in the areas of clean room factory layout and capacity, implementing them locally, and then transferring them to the other mask shops around Intel. As a TD industrial engineer, you will use the mask fabrication process flow and collaborate with process engineers to create and validate capacity models for all process equipment types. These models are the basis of the Model of Record that are used to determine equipment requirements to meet the fab technology ramps across the company. In addition, you will work with process engineers and equipment suppliers to spatially optimize the configuration of first-of-a-kind equipment, and use that information to create layout blocks and layout methodologies that are used across all Intel fabs. Locally, you will develop and implement capacity and layout plans to meet technology and ramp requirements for multiple concurrent technology nodes, and also work extensively with the process engineering teams to analyze process change impacts and develop cost-optimized recommendations. You will also be expected to deliver efficiency improvements and continuously drive innovations.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements, and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below could be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research, and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Candidate must possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.

* Minimum of 6 months of experience in one or more of the following (having more than one will be preferred)

* Designing equipment layout and workflow

* Creating and manipulating objects in AutoCAD, dynamic block development or BIM/3D

* Experience with developing AutoCAD scripts using languages such as VB.NET

* Developing, validating and summarizing equipment performance data for capacity modeling and analysis

* Documenting, training and reviewing/auditing the implementation of work product that you generate

* Experience in leading small projects in a factory environment.
