The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group (NSG) is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash and 3DXP (Optane) memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices. The group is responsible for non-volatile memory (NVM) technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.

Business group employees in Intel's NSG work on non-volatile memory from material science and process research, through component design, manufacturing, ASIC, board, solid state drives and SW solutions. They deliver disruptive solutions that are transforming computing across all segments from Internet Portal Data Centers (IPDCs) to Consumer Client Devices such as Ultrabooks and Tablets. They invent, develop, bring to market and support customers with leading-edge non-volatile memory products. Our customers include leading cloud service providers, IPDCs, original equipment manufacturers, and other leading edge technology companies from around the world.

The internship length is at least 6 months and up to 1 year

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/ or work experience.

Minimum Requirements:
The candidate must be pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Business Analytics.

6+ months of experience in the following areas:
- Programming (C, C++)
- Scripting (Python)
- Debugging

Preferred Requirements:
6+ months of experience in the following areas:
- Storage technologies
- Data collection
- Analysis and reporting
- PCIe/NVMe or SATA serial interfaces and protocols

- Working knowledge of Power BI, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX
