Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Data Platforms Group (DPG) as an IP Design Manager!

Join a creative team of engineers in the Ethernet Products Group that develops high-speed cutting-edge Ethernet controller ASICs for Cloud customers with support for Crypto and Compression capabilities, advanced HW-based storage protocols and compute capabilities. Our products are targeted for the comms and cloud data center industry and serve as a critical ingredient of Intel's Data Centric strategy, in shaping the Data Center and delivering an Intel end to end solution for this growing market.

As the IP Design Manager, you will manage the design team of the RDMA IP and manage all IP deliveries to the SoC. You will be responsible for design execution, quality, and delivery according to Intel product lifecycle (PLC) for the program. This role requires good knowledge of logic design, microarchitecture, IP reuse methodologies and processes as well as excellent communication and management skills. Additionally, you will manage Smart NIC discrete ASIC SoC design (SoC components), IP delivery (over 15 Multi-Geo IPs and subsystems in a highly complex system) and Design tools PLC for the program.

The Data Platforms Group drives new products technologies from high-end co-processors for supercomputers to low-energy systems for enterprise and the cloud, as well as solutions for big data and intelligent devices. Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 9 years of industry work experience, or a Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 6 years of industry work experience, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

- 9 plus years of logic design experience.

- 5 plus years of managerial experience in an ASIC development environment.

- 3 plus years of experience with ASIC project development stages.

- 3 plus years of experience with FPGA / emulation development.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's Degree or higher.

- Networking experience (Ethernet, PCIe, TCP/IP).
