Intel's Logic Technology Development (LTD) and Frame Automation Team (FRAT) is responsible for developing automation that enables unparalleled productivity and capabilities to support the Frame. We work in a cross-functional environment with engineers of varying disciplines spanning Material Science, Process Engineering. Design Automation and Software Engineering.

As a software engineer in Frame Automation, you will be working on a configuration management system and design processing pipeline, which handles data that is used for all chips manufactured by Intel. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic software engineer who will be directly responsible for building key components for this platform.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Candidate must possess a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in:

* One or more high-level programming languages (e.g. Python, Go, JavaScript)

* REST API design and back-end software development

* Modern front-end frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, Angular 2)

* Developing and debugging in SOA/distributed systems environment and have worked through the entire SDLC



Preferred Qualifications:

* Familiar with UNIX/Linux platforms

* Experience using messaging/streaming systems (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka)

* Experience with CI/CD and familiarity with DevOps tools

* Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)

* Experience with developing on public cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
