Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature US experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from schoolIn this role responsibilities will include but not be limited toDevelops and supports digital circuit design for cutting edge highspeed protocols PCIe USB CXLPerforms custom digital circuit design and simulationDesign develop modify and evaluates digital electronic parts components or integrated circuitry for use in digital electronic equipment and other hardware systemsDetermine design approaches and parametersPerform digital circuit design verification and layout data path design and digital block synthesis
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must be pursuing a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications
6 months of experience with
RTL design VHDL Verilog andor SystemVerilog
RTL and synthesis ie what RTL looks likebehaves like after it is synthesized into gates
Simulator Modelsim VCS etc
Lab equipment such as Logic analyzers scopes protocol analyzers etc
Availability for 6 months internship
