As a summer program participant you will need to work as a team player and be willing to assist in multiple projects over the course of the summer.

The job duties will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the business unit that is being supported You will need to checkin with management to show your progress and discuss any issues you may have encountered in a constructive manner. At the end of the program you will be asked to deliver a presentation on how your experience went and what you learned.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt administrative or technical nature US experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments may last for only three months usually during the summer months or may alternate a semester of work with a semester of school.

Open to fulltime students only. Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature Work performed within narrowly defined parameters Limited judgment required in resolving standard problems. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Work is typically checked and monitored on a routine basis.

The Undergraduate Intern will work to develop improve and implement process improvements for teams developing leading edge semiconductor products Interns will be focused on a video content creation project to improve Technician Training and Engineering Customer Question responses. In addition to video content students will be working on improving a AI system intended to direct external customers to the content being created.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

* This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelors degree with three years related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelors degree and less than three years experience

* Candidate must be pursuing a High School Diploma

* Applicant must be 16 years or older by the start of the program

* Applicant must have an interest in STEM

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and especially Excel spreadsheets intermediate knowledge of excel at least

* Must be willing to work a minimum of 16 hours per week during the school year

* Must be willing to work virtually

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with video content creation and video editing

* Experience with Microsoft Teams content development

* Post COVID this position will transition to being onsite in Hillsboro

* Candidates must be located in the Portland greater area
