The Population Health Strategy Lead (Tribal Government Liaison) is responsible for improving the quality of care and outcomes while managing costs for a defined group of people. The Population Health Strategy Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

The Population Health Strategy Lead (Tribal Government Liaison) will serve as a Tribal Government Liaison with responsibility for outreach to AI/AN (American Indian/Alaska Native) Health Plan Enrollees, IHCPs (Indian Health Care Providers), I/T/U (Indian Health Service Tribal Urban Indian) and Indian Tribe representatives. They will serve as a resource to and advocate for AI/AN Health Plan Enrollees and IHCPs, in their interactions with Humana. The Population Health Strategy Lead(Tribal Government Liaison) will help identify health needs for AI/AN population such as chronic diseases or health access issues. Advises executives to develop functional strategies for the population.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree required; Masters degree preferred.
* 5 + years managing projects and cross functional teams.
* Experience with Medicaid/Medicare operations.
* Experience working with tribal health systems.
* Experience developing relationships with tribal governments and leaders to understand and improve the tribal health system.
* Ability to analyze data and make informed recommendations.
* Intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
* Must have a separate room with a locked door that can be used as a home office, to ensure you have absolute and continuous privacy while you work.
* Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required.

Additional Information

* Days/Hours: Monday Friday; 8:30am 5:00pm, Central Standard Time.
* Travel: 30% in the state Oklahoma (There will be no travel at this time due to business travel restrictions.)
* Work Location: Office based but temporarily remote. In order to support the CDC recommendations on social distancing and reduce health risks for associates, members and public health, Humana is deploying virtual and video technologies for all hiring activities. This position may be subject to temporary work at home requirements for an indefinite period of time.
