In IT Learning Strategies (ITLS) the prospective Software Engineer 2 will be responsible for coding new features into our existing applications based on prioritized requirements. They will need to be able to both work with and independently of the current Senior Software Engineers.

Responsibilities

Tasks the prospective Software Engineer 2 will be mainly responsible for include, without being limited to:

* Increasing test coverage of code toward onboarding all ITLS code repositories to GLAPI Level 3 pipelines
* Supporting data metrics and analytics dashboards to show ROI on learning created and supported by ITLS
* Assisting in troubleshooting production incidents in the Ladder and Beaver applications, their services, and underlying databases
* Assisting Senior developers in migrating Ladder and Beaver applications to the Cloud

The successful candidate will be able to make decisions regarding their own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and will require minimal direction, receiving guidance where needed. The ideal candidate will also be an effective communicator and presenter.

Required Qualifications

* 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis or application programming development
* Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
* Must have interest in continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications

* Familiarity with MVC and latest version of .Net Framework/.Net Core
* Experience with PowerBI/Power Apps
* Experience creating/maintaining SharePoint Online sites
* Interest in facilitating/teaching learning sessions
* Experience working with Agile SDLC
* Bachelors Degree or better in Computer Science or related field
