The NAPA brand is known around the world for having KNOW HOW and we are looking for a Talent who can bring their Sales KNOW HOW to this very exciting role Territory Sales Manager. We are looking for someone who can achieve maximum market penetration/growth, increase sales/profitability, and create superior wow experiences for our Independently owned NAPA Auto Parts Stores. This role reports to a supportive Sales Manager.

The Role:

You will have the opportunity to manage NAPA program implementations to enable store-owners and their installer customers to increase their market share, successfully compete in their market, and ultimately help owners achieve profitability and return on investment. We would like to also have someone who is familiar with and focused on inventory readiness for the store owners.

Here are the big focuses of this role/what youll focus on:

SALES

Presents, communicates, and sells storeowners on the NAPA Sales, Marketing, and Training programs all things NAPA

Addresses sales and service questions, fixes any issues and creates sales opportunities utilizing D.C. and manufacturer resources.

Review all Sales Bulletins/AAA Promos and assist the store with ensuring proper commercial account registrations in RAM/TAMS/RPM for rebates and pricing

Promote outside sales effort in conjunction with Wholesale Manager

Achieves territory sales quota, increase NAPA Rewards enrollment

Facilitate special sales events like Filter and T&E; sales events

Work with store owner to establish monthly sales quotas and contribute to the achievement of D.C. Sales Quota.

STORE READINESS -

Work with Wholesale Manager and Owner to create and execute plan on a page

Ensure E-Planograms are up to date, monitor Stock Outs, Price Labels, and monthly marketing dashboard

Reviews Store Product Strategy, collaborate with Retail Business Dev. Managers on Retail Initiatives and work with store owners on Hub and Spoke Network

Implements the NAPA inventory effectiveness program using PULSE

Promotes the use of Store Owner analytics and keep pricing strategy current

Ensure store has adequate inventory to support product promotions (Real Deals, Retail Flyer, Wholesaler, etc)

SERVICE

Monitor On-time Delivery and work with owner to set-up Shuttles

Ensure usage of the Sales Training Program - Product and Program Training

Provides training to store personnel on the proper implementation and utilization of NAPA programs

Continuously works with Owner and Wholesale Manager on end user New Distribution

Guides the store through classification and ensures they are prepared from inception to completion each quarter

Work with store on hours of operation, NAPA Delivery Tracker, and voice of the customer issues

TECHNOLOGY -

Assists storeowner and employees in fully utilizing NAPA Technology systems (i.e. NAPA Xpress, TAMS, PPSE. Storefront, SafePay, BOPIS and NDT

Able to review operating reports from TAMS/RPM (Asset protection, returns, pricing, etc)

Provide high level review of store financials

What youll need:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree or equivalent sales experience or successful NAPA experience preferred.

Understand and demonstrate basic selling skills such as preparing for the sales call, managing the customer/sales meeting, handling customer resistance, closing the sale, and account maintenance.

Prior experience in a NAPA store or other retail experience in the automotive industry

2+ years experience in a customer focused role where you managed accounts

Demonstrates professionalism, good judgment and a strong work ethic.

Ability to communicate, present, and influence

Possesses problem solving and decision-making skills.

Demonstrates organizational and planning skills, practice time management, meet deadlines and display a sense of urgency.

Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation to take action when appropriate and continuously strive for self- improvement.

Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office, internet navigation, CRM applications).

* Automotive/Mechanical background (not a deal breaker if you dont)
