Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice and team guidance on developing and maintaining plans for the creation or maintenance of a product, and contribute your technical expertise in production and decision-making. In this role, you will implement timelines, milestones, and allocation of resources, as well as manage the technical requirements needed to implement a product.

* Lead the development of goals, guidelines, action steps, and timelines to ensure projects meet technical requirements.
* Contribute your advanced technical expertise to the project.
* Monitor and report on progress towards the project's timelines and goals.
* Refine goal, guidelines, action steps, and timelines for projects as needed.
* Ensure projects meet the technical requirements for full completion.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

* 4 years

Desired Experiences

* Bachelor degree or equivalent
* Ability to analyze different components of the infrastructure and application environments
* 3+ years experience with IT Infrastructure components such as AWS Cloud Services, Unix/Linux/Wintel Servers, networks, firewalls, routers, load balancers, etc
* Experience working with cloud infrastructure environments
* Experience and confidence working with all levels of management;
* Ability to quickly and concisely communicate (verbal and written) with senior management and other stakeholders on technical issues in non-technical terms
* Ability to occasionally work on nights and weekends depending on the nature of the projects
* Strong relationship management skills and aptitude to multi-task in a high stress environment, both within teams and independently
* Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
* ITIL or PMP certification, Financial services industry experience is desired

Tools

Skilled in ServiceNow to manage digital workflows
Skilled in reporting and data mining
Skilled in Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings, development, and networking platforms
Experience using scheduling software to book events
Experience using JIRA
Skilled in Excel

Additional Information

This role is required to manage technical projects that achieve the safety, soundness and resiliency of Fannie Mae in order to prevent downtime for our external and internal customers 24 x 7. The role will engage with Cloud Operations/Cloud COE/App Support/Infrastructure/etc teams to efficiently implement changes and improvement projects for the cloud environment.
