Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice and team guidance on managing several projects and/or products to meet organizational goals. In this role, you will make decisions on requests for resources, and collaborate with management to define timing, scope, priorities, risks, and opportunities. You will coordinate with other teams to ensure support of the portfolios.

The selected candidate will play an integral role on team responsible for partnering with Leadership at Fannie Mae to drive and execute all aspects of Digital Transformation across the enterprise through informed decision-making and prioritization.

The Enterprise Planning - Portfolio Management - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care, so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

* Develop and implement systematic approach to collecting and reporting on project or operation data. Review and analyze data collected by the team.
* Collaborate with management to define the objectives of projects or products.
* Monitor and report on the performance of product or project teams.
* Refine goals, guidelines, objectives, and timelines for teams as needed.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Required Experience:

* 4+ years of relevant professional experience;
* Demonstrable experience helping an organization plan & manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives;
* Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion; specifically, knowledge & experience in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) competency of Lean Portfolio Management
* Experience leveraging business insight skills to include including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, and more;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting information to audiences with various functional and technical expertise in a way that is engaging and easy to understand;
* Relationship management skills to include managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, and more;
* Influencing skills and experience negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict;
* Skilled in documentation and reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making;
* Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI;
* Experience partnering cross-functionally and familiarity with collaboration tools / platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, etc.

Desired Experience:

* Bachelors Degree, or other advanced Degree;
* Experience with cloud technologies in support of digital transformation initiatives;
* Experience in financial services or consulting.
