As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to managing the administration, strategic planning, and operations of an assigned portfolio. In this role, you will monitor, provide analysis, and report on the end-to-end execution of business processes using enterprise systems for effective tracking and reporting.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Multifamily - Risk - Asset Management - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

* Demonstrate knowledge of the Multifamily market including; DUS model, products, real estate finance, transactions and structures, legal contracts, loan documents, property/ collateral valuation, cap rates, credit, and regional markets.
* Provide subject matter expertise specific to the Multifamily Seller Servicer Guide (MSSG) policies, its uses and applications.
* Analyze Multifamily portfolio data, counterparties, markets, complex loan agreements/ terms, financial statements, cash flows and loss calculations. Identify trends and draw reasonable conclusions from examination of data and other sources of information.
* Direct others in the process of navigating multiple systems, managing data and creating reports. Ensure data quality and integrity. Improve processes to monitor and communicate credit risk within the team, across the Multifamily organization, and with outside lender partners.
* Support the development of action plans for non-routine project-based work including regulatory and internal audit activities.
* Demonstrate significant depth of understanding relative to business unit responsibilities and objectives. Resolve problems, source and develop information to negotiate position with management and external stakeholders to mitigate financial and credit risk.
* Support a portfolio's vision and strategic objectives.
* Analyze portfolio progress and enact changes, along with reporting portfolio performance to key stakeholders.
* Evaluate risk of current assets, while complying with governance and controls.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Experience

* 2 years relevant experience

Desired Experience

* Bachelors degree or equivalent
* Prior project management experience
* Skilled in training, presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to include negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict. Ability to deal with multiple business units within the Multifamily organization and outside lender partners
* Risk assessment and management skills including evaluating controls, conducting impactful assessments, identifying control gaps, and remediating risk
* Attention to detail and ability to digest a significant amount of information and convey ideas/suggestions to various counterparties
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across the organization and with individuals having different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively while working toward a common goal. Must be able to develop relationships with senior executives
* Comfortable leveraging technology as a tool for assessing risk
* Financial analysis
* Property analysis
* Knowledge of DUS/GSE Asset Management guidelines
* Skilled in Excel, Microsoft Access, Confluence, Teams, WebEx
