Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will identify moderately complex operational issues by observing and studying system functioning and performance results, investigate complaints and suggestions, as well as interview process supervisors and operators, and complete troubleshooting procedures.

Our Mid-Level Application Support Analyst will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

* Identify operational priorities by assessing operational objectives.
* Contribute to operational solutions by defining, studying, estimating, and screening alternative solutions, calculating costs, and determining the impact on the total system.
* Improve operational quality results by studying, evaluating, and recommending moderately complex process re-designs and lead implementation efforts.
* Contribute information and opinion to unit design and modification teams.

Skills

Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process
Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
Skilled in running SQL queries, job scheduling
Expertise in service management concepts for networks and related standards such as ITIL practices or SDLC
Skilled in recovering failed systems and/or servers, including recovery software, failover clusters, and replication
Adept at application implementations
Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action
Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing
Experience in Incident Management, supporting L2 duties
Experience working Primary On-Call, 24x7 environment

This segment also issues structured MBS backed by Fannie Mae multifamily MBS; buys and sells multifamily agency mortgage-backed securities; and offers delegated underwriting and servicing, as well as multifamily mortgage, and credit risk and loss management services. The company serves mortgage banking companies, savings and loan associations, savings banks, commercial banks, credit unions, community banks, specialty servicers, insurance companies, and state and local housing finance agencies. Federal National Mortgage Association was founded in 1938 and is headquartered in Washington, the District of Columbia.
