Job Description

As a valued leader on our team, you will play a role in developing a strategic plan for, and provide oversight on, analyzing, modeling, and interpreting capital and Profit & Loss (P&L) implications. In this role, you will support corporate strategy analytics, market-based benchmarking, trend, scenario and business plan analysis on capital requirements, capital allocation, and optimization and effectiveness of business and/or enterprise strategies as needed.

The SF CFO - Capital Management and Analysis - Senior Manager role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

* Set strategy for development and consolidation of assumptions and scenarios to perform baseline capital forecasting, stress testing, key assumption sensitivities, and other analytics and reporting as necessary.
* Develop complex approach to corporate strategic plan analysis, and the assessment of capital and PL implications.
* Design and propose metrics and methodologies for capital adequacy, allocation, and optimization strategies.
* Leverage knowledge of financial analysis, understanding of Fannie Maes business as well as existing internal econometric models in answering ad-hoc analytical questions related to capital planning.
* Consult with senior leadership on consolidation, validation, and preparation of quarterly regulatory capital reporting and submit to regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

Desired Experience

* Experience in Financial Institution Regulatory Capital preferred
* Cross-functional business skills with excellent facilitation and communication skills, strong influencing skills, and ability to effectively present to and work with senior management
* Collective capabilities for leadership, including leading teams, giving feedback, facilitating meetings, and coaching and mentoring
* Background in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or analytics/forecasting
* Technical skills preferred; SAS/SQL, Python, R, Tableau
* Ability to digest complex issues and communicate in concise manner

The company serves mortgage banking companies, savings and loan associations, savings banks, commercial banks, credit unions, community banks, specialty servicers, insurance companies, and state and local housing finance agencies.
