Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will act as team lead while organizing cloud-related incidents while proposing and implementing solutions to quickly restore service in order to eliminate or minimize business impact to external and internal customers. In this role, you will coach and mentor less experienced associates.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Cloud Operations Engineering Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care, so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

* Apply advanced skill, knowledge, and/or experience, while leading teams to implement and coordinate various enterprise-wide cloud-related changes;
* Identify opportunities to minimize required changes that arise after provisioning cloud environments for applications;
* Consider multiple interrelated systems and initiatives to provide technical expertise and support for cloud-hosted application releases;
* Lead ongoing monitoring of environments and recommend additional controls and governance;
* Improve communications about outages/changes between vendors and various internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Required Experience:

* 4+ years of relevant professional experience;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
* Experience analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data;
* Experience identifying measures or indicators of system performance and determining the actions needed to improve or correct performance to achieve desired outcomes;
* Experience working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal;
* Experience using software and computer systems architectural principles to integrate enterprise computer applications;
* Expertise in service management concepts for networks and related standards;
* Demonstrable hands-on experience and skills in Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings, development, and networking platforms including:
* Application Integration Step Functions;
* Analytics EMR;
* Compute EC2, Elastic Beanstalk (EB), Lambda;
* Containers Elastic Container Service (ECS), Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS);
* Database RDS, ElastiCache;
* Management & Governance Auto Scaling, Config, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Service Catalog;
* Networking & Content Delivery CloudFront, VPC;
* Security, Identity, & Compliance Identity & Access Management (IAM), WAF;
* Storage S3;
* Skilled in automation scripting with Python.

Desired Experience:

* Bachelors Degree;
* Associate AWS Certifications Desired Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer;
* Professional AWS Certifications Highly Desired Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer.
