This position can be filled in Baton Rouge, LA (preferred location) or Jefferson, LA.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Lead an executive account management team responsible for delivering growth from the industrial base of existing and new customers. Train and develop the team to practice world class account management principles. This includes building and maintaining trustful, long-term relationships at operational and senior levels to understand customer needs and drive actions to meet those requirements to increase revenues. Personally develop and maintain senior level relationships with a number of key/strategic accounts. Facilitate executive engagement between Entergy and these customers. Develop an internal network and work effectively with multiple internal organizations and stakeholders to meet both company and customer deliverables.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and manage the performance of a highly skilled sales & service team responsible for ~$1 billion annual revenue portfolio.

Foster a culture that develops deep customer relationships and delivers growth meeting organizational targets.

Develop relationships and work in a collaborative style with multiple internal organizations including but not limited to Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Transmission and Utility Operations to meet internal and customer needs.

Ensure that the account team functions as a primary point of contact with support from other internal organizations for complex customer operational issues, coordination of planned outages and response for unplanned outages.

Serve as a primary point of contact for storm preparation and restoration response for major industrial customers.

Customer contract negotiations for new and retention of existing business; strong knowledge of rates, riders & terms & conditions (commercial terms & responsibilities).

Be a change agent to improve both Strategic Account Management and Entergys capability to meet existing and future customer needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education required of the position
Typically requires a college or university degree in related field or the equivalent work experience.
Desired: Additional business degree or MBA.

Minimum experience required of the position
7+ years
Desired: 3 years in supervisory role over an account management or customer service team.
