Become a Data Analytics Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, youll work in the Technical Planning Design Contractor Hub within SCEs Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Business Unit. This person will support process improvement projects and oversee the design and maintenance of organization reporting tools, scorecards, and metrics. A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

* Import and export Planning Progress Reports (PPR) using customized Access database (PoleTracker).
* Award poles in PoleTracker for design to internal/external design resources.
* Process deteriorated pole work-orders to the Pole Project Management Group (PPM).
* Validate data in Poletracker from Planning Progress Report (PPR) to ensure it matches the work order packages received from planning resources.
* Verify work-order information using Design Manager, SAP, SharePoint, and other database resources.
* Utilize primary and secondary data sources for tracking, reporting, and performance measurement.
* Develop and generate reports for performance and scorecard data and develop ad-hoc reporting.
* Work with internal clients and design contractors to address scope, process, and billing issues.
* Use of SAS/Power BI Visual Analytics for data extraction and reporting.

Qualifications
The Essentials

* Three years or more of experience performing Data Analytics functions such as extracting data and analyzing large datasets.
* Two or more years of experience utilizing the advanced functions of Microsoft Excel such as Sum-Ifs, V-Lookups, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
* One or more years of experience using SAS or Power BI Visual Analytics software.

The Preferred

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or related field.
* Experience with Pole Tracker, Project Tracker, Design Manager (DM) and SAP.
* Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
* Experience providing high level analytics, including statistical analysis and visual analytics to understand areas of improvement.
* Experience working with construction design work orders.
* Experience giving presentations and using reporting metrics to provide recommendations to leadership.
* Experience with SAPs Ariba functionality and invoice/billing processes.
